Branding and Design

The Americam Markeitng Association definition of a “Brand:”

In many ways the web has lowered the cost of starting and maintaining a business. However, this makes it harder than ever to stand out from the pack, especially online.

Here’s is our mathmatical formula for branding and design.

Versitle + Simple + Unique + Clever = Power to Rule The World.

Creating design and branding that rocks is often a process of eliminating things until only the most relevant remain. We call this process “strategic simplification.”

1. It should be versitle
It needs to look the same everywhere so it should work when it’s a half inch wide on a smartphone’s screen and when it’s twenty five feet wide on a billboard.

2. It should be simple
It should not be too detailed. It should be one or two colors. These should be your company color(s) that you use everywhere.

3. It should be unique
How are people supposed to remember you if your logo looks like everyone else’s?

4. It should be clever
The best logos communicate something about the company in a clever way. A great example is the FedEx logo, which has an arrow in the white space, subtly impyling movement and quickness.

Getting an excellent logo is time and money well spent. Check out our logo gallery or email us for a quote.
